In my previous post, I shared the great news that we went electric and bought our first electric car.
Was it the right decision? Perhaps we had doubts while waiting for the car for almost a year. But now, about a month after we got our Cupra, all doubts are gone. We absolutely love it!
The video story (if you prefer to read the story, please continue below the video):
But why? Here are the five most important things I like about our new Cupra Born.
1. It’s all-electric –
this is the first and most important thing that I like. The measurable package behind is a combination of low carbon footprint, charging at home, and cost saving in the long term – that’s all important, but for me, the most essential point is that we are keeping pace with the times. Electric vehicles are simply a future.
2. It’s spacious – although Cupra Born is not a big car, about the size of a VW Golf, it’s surprisingly spacious inside. Three grown-ups can sit pretty comfortably on the rear bank, even when traveling longer distances.
3. Design – both interior and exterior design are very appealing. Classy. A combination of black and gold looks very elegant. It can be found on the wheels and in the interior. Ambiental lights, with a large pallet of colors on choice. And look at this one – a hidden surprise, the Cupra logo being projected to the floor next to the driver’s door upon stepping out of the car – really not important, but makes a classy impression.
4. Instant acceleration is one of the most attractive performance features. It’s unbeatable, instrumental in the city, in crossroads. Acceleration is one of the significant advantages of electric engines. This is because electric motors are much simpler than internal combustion engines and can build up torque instantly.
5. Driving silently – it’s an incredible feeling. No engine sound, no vibrations. It feels like gliding.
These were the top five things that I like about Cupra Born. I’ll keep sharing more about my Cupra experience in the upcoming posts.
